Good Sam or FMCA?

Have Good Sam on everything. On trip I picked up a stone chip in a rental car windshield & the agony began - nobody seemed to know if I was covered or for how much. I ended up spending most of a morning talking to a half-dozen or so drones & I'm still not sure what's up. Was really thinking of ditching Good Sam for FMCA's ins. Anybody have any views? Pro or con. Thanks!

Wouldn't your toad glass be covered under your auto insurance policy?

If I have to rent a car I always add ins to it because of this very thing. You have to add a rider to National General (my Good Sam policy) for rental coverage or so they told me. Since our vehicles are on the same policy same thing. I hope you find out something different than I was told.
