Good Sam Roadside Assistance vs FMCA
I have GS roadside assistance Platinum and they want to renew at $149.95 for another year. Was looking at FMCA for what I can see looks to be the same coverage for $69.00/year.
Anyone have experience with FMCA roadside assistance? I know you get what you pay for but I think GS is getting way to expensive.
Appreciate your feedback.
TIA

IIRC ,You also have to join FMCA for $50 first year. But still $30 less than GS renewal. They both send the same tow trucks. Currently GS offers a substantial discount for new members about $115 platinum and you get a $20 CW gift card. Instead of renewing have your spouse sign up as a new member, worked for us

I've had three different renewal price offers for GS Platinum renewal, the latest at $179.95, none as low as a new customer and none available if I log into the website.
So I've looked around and have already made the decision to join FMCA and purchase their plan when my GS expires next month.

We've had GS Roadside Assistance since 2001 but will be changing to FMCA next time it comes up for renewal!

I've had bad sam roadside non assistance and attempted to use them 2 times. I bought 6 brand new Toyo tires for my class c and had two blowouts. I called for help both times only to be told "we're sorry we can't find anyone to change a tire. Once in Tenn, once in NJ.

That has little to do with GS ERS, it's which contractor says they are available, those times no-one said they were available.
You always have the option of calling someone yourself, having the work performed, then submitting a claim with necessary substantiating paper work. This the same with any roadside assistance contract.

I went to FMCA because folks said it was good and it costs less.
The jerking around with price now days at GS turned me off of them.
