Good Service - Windshield Chip Repair

We traveled 1500+ some miles and 40 miles from our destination a panel truck kicked up rock and chipped the windshield. This is on the new car with less than 4000 miles on it. Oh well - stuff happens.

However I am familiar with Glass Weld Systems. An FMCA member was a dealer and my first encounter with they repair system was when I parked near him in Mayport, CA. His name was Larry Diaz.

Today I went down to El Cajon and met Larry Lewis of:

HECKMAN Glass Masters
1177 Greenfield Dr. Suite F
El Cajon, CA 92021
PH: 619-588-9000

My chip was about as big as a silver dollar. Yep, it must have been a big rock. Larry did a good job and it is hardly noticable, just a little pin point indicates where the rock hit. So if you are in or near the El Cajon area and need a chip repaired, I suggest going to Lary Lewis at HECKMAN Glass Masters.

If you are in some other part of the country, call the Glass Weld System number 800-321-2597 and ask them for the nearest repair site.

Happy trails.

Thanks Wayne, this is good to know and glad you had a pleasant experience with them. I'm sure others will be able to put this to good use too. I know I will keep it handy just in case.
