Thumbs down “Good Stuff RV” No Good At All

It’s time for me to clean my RV’s A/C units. I came across a thread in the forum where a member recommended an A/C coil cleaner by Good Stuff RV. The web link he provided also showed a video of how to apply the product. Although it was quite expensive, I decided to give it a try since the member stated that the cleaner will not harm painted surfaces like many other coil cleaners can.

As I was placing my order I was taken back by the steep shipping charge of $16 for a 2 lb. can, but I continued on with my online purchase anyway. This put my total purchase at $36.12. I should have known better...

Two weeks went by and no coil cleaner. For $16, it should have been at my door in a matter of days. I called Good Stuff RV and was greeted by a recording. I left a message asking them to call me back. No call back by the next day so I sent them an email. Five days later no response and still no coil cleaner, so I was forced to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Horrible customer service....save yourself the frustration and money and buy elsewhere.

Craig

And at about $5 a can. It's also good for cleaning your radiator. It's a concentrated detergent.

I know but I've been told that regular A/C coil cleaner can damage automotive/RV paint, so I thought it would be worth the extra expense to use something less toxic. So much for that idea...

Some good info here even though it is about air conditioner leaks. In the article it says that Coleman recommends just using Formula 409 to clean the coils.
