I think I will have to stick with my free Harbor Freight measuring tape.
Quick Draw measuring tape.

These new tape measures are a cool invention. I guess they would have a small niche of users. I really don't see them replacing the 'regular' tapes used by the everyday carpenters on the job. I couldn't imagine them fumbling around in their tool belts amongst all the miscellaneous items for the refills, which probably would be broken into pieces after a long days work. The good 'ole' tape and carpenters pencils are safe for now. Of course I never thought the ' nail gun' would catch on.....

I tape a pencil to the side of my tape measure and achieve the same thing.
