I love the north rim. It has the best views in the park and is the quietest. Far from the madding crowd.

We haven't been back to the South rim since our first visit to the North rim. The main attraction, no commercial vendors, or beaten-down look to anything. The views are, to us, are every bit as wonderful as the lower side. One can relax and blend-in with nature on the North rim.

Was on the North rim 20 years ago on my bike. No people and fire wood every where, the nights where a little cool.
