We've had the Webber, Olympic, Charcoal, and a few others. We bought a Holland grill for grilling @ home and loved it. DW bought me a Holland portable about 15 years ago for my birthday. We still have it and are still using it while RVing. It will not flare up and your meats will be juicy and flavorful. Friends have eaten hamburgers cooked on it and went and bought one a week later. They also love theirs.
If you buy a gas grill you might also want the Marshall extend a flow tee and hose kit to use the propane from the MH tank.

Depends on your cooking needs. We got the big Weber 220. I wish we had gotten the Weber Q120. It is smaller. There is just the two of us but I think even the smaller one will handle up to 6 people or so, maybe 8 depending on what you are cooking. Don't get me wrong, we didn't buy the wrong brand, just the wrong size.

Go Weber. Great quality and even heating.

We also have a Weber Q with the folding cart. While stationary I have a hose that fuels it from the MH propane. It's the one I would recommend!

I think the Q grill is the winner. Webber makes a great product!

It seems that more than most prefer the Weber Q's. I think we'll end up getting one eventually, just to add to collection. Even heating is definately a plus, and that's one of the pit falls of the Coleman. It's not perfectly even on the heating. I have to move the burgers or steaks around the grill and really manage the cooking. But, then I kinda like doing that. Makes me feel like I have more affect on the meat cooking, versus just setting in on the grill, flipping it once, then calling it done.

Looks like the good folks of the forum have given some good advice. I guess now it's just a matter of figuring out which features and benefits of which grill, suit your desires and needs the best.

Good luck with the choice. I'm sure there'll be more opinions posted. It seems us RV'ers are pretty proud of what we produce from whatever cooking conveyance that we use.

I have been using my coleman roadtrip for ten years and love it.Use it at home and on the road.Can't compare it to anything else cause it is the only grill I have.Use a 20# tank .

Glad you are satisfied. Cooked on a Roadtrip for two months and, when packing to move on threw it in the nearest dumpster. Stopped and bought a Q to use - eventually bought one for the stick and bricks.

I've had no problem with even heating on my Coleman. I do pre-heat the grate with the top down before putting food on. For some cooking it's good to be able to have cooler spot when grilling different types of food at the same time. I sometimes have one burner on higher than the other or leave one off with the top down for an indirect heat. Small grills sometimes just get too hot.

Does the Weber have one or 2 burners ? Having just one would rule it out for me.

Unless you're cooking for more than four people, the "Uniflame" table top, L-P does a great job. It uses the screw on bottles of fuel. You can buy Coleman or cheaper - yet the same thing under another name at Walmart. The Uniflame BBQ is at Lowes. This past week it served up four steaks and four burgers and none of us complained at all. I bet you can fins an adapter or two and hook it to the coach tank.

I have been using a charcoal grill from Lowes for 2 years ,works great .$70.00 still looks new.

I used a Walmart 20 buck grill for a long time until one day I ran into a end of season sale on a Weber 100. I was so impressed with the even cooking of it I bought an E330 for the s&b. On this one I placed a burger at each corner and 1 in the middle and all 5 were cooked to perfection at the same time. Hands down the gas grill of choice for most of us appears to be the Weber.

I've never tried pre heating with the lid down. That sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the tip.

For us, by far the best grill we have ever used is a Big Green Egg. We carry a Weber Q and a small Big Green Egg with us. If we are sitting still for any length of time, the Weber Q is put away and we only use the Egg. Makes the best steak I have ever eaten.

Same story here. Weber Genesis at home Uniflame cheapie in the MH. They last about 2 years but we are 1/2 timers and use them about 6 months at a clip. I bought one of the adapters to connect a 20lb tank and quit screwing around with the little ones. I did have a connector to refill the little tanks from a 20lb one but this will be much easier.
