LOVED Florida the several times we've stayed there during the winter season - great climate, and sooooo many things to do and see - we always stayed around the Orlando or New Smyrna beach areas. The Daytona area, with the biker "Biketoberfest", and the Thanksgiving "Turkey Run" always top the events - and a run down thru the Keys is hard to beat, too...

Being from the West Coast area, the leisurely trip down thru the Southern route was an event all it's own - made the trip even more enjoyable...

I'm done waiting on the weather. My RV season starts on March 8th. We'll be at Thousand Trails, Mount Vernon WA for 8 days. It will probably rain, blow and maybe even snow...I don't care it's time to CAMP!

Yup, it looks just "great".

Sequim today - Hi 47 Low 27 snow & rain
Tomorrow ----- Hi 45 Low 32 snow & rain

Tucson today - Hi 70 Low 43 NO snow, rain, clouds
Tomorrow ----- Hi 72 Low 41 the same for days

Gee, can't imagine why I moved away.

But we spend the summer up there and live in Tucson the rest of the year.

My wife won't let me go. Guess she figures I'd come home with a new Dutch Star, Mountain Aire or Essex!

But I'll get another chance at the Good Sam rally in Phoenix in March!! Newmar is supposed to have their 2013 lineup there.

The Portland RV show is coming up starting on March 7th too.

I drove across town today (Houston) and was noticing all the RVs on the freeways. I guess the higher gas prices aren't dampening the spirits of RVers!

Funny, but since we bought our first RV a few months ago, I really take note of every rig that I see on the road.

It's mostly rained here for the last 10 days. It took a break Saturday so the guys could install my new residential refrigerator and junk the Norcold. It's element had started leaking so it had to go. Perfect weather for the install.

Since we moved to the beach, I can't get DW to travel anywhere! Boy we screwed up! Maybe this summer when the fog comes back. I did get her to Quartzsite for 2 weeks under protest.

We only got about 10" just north of you. But it did get to 36F as I finished blowing the snow off the driveway. This morning the sun is trying to break through the clouds. High 30's for highs next week. We'll see spring one of these days.....
