Had It
Ever woke up and looked outside at the gray winter gloom, and said Nuts!!(for lack of a better word).Lets go get the motorhome and just go somewhere.
I was out going to somewhere yesterday and was amazed at the RVs on the road. I thought this was the winter in the Northwest.

We lived in central Ohio for 22 years. I'm very familiar with Cabin Fever.

Yea, used to say that all the time during the winter months. The gray and gloomy look outdoors can get quite depressing. Changed all that and are enjoying Florida this winter and the weather here has been GREAT! Sunny and 82 as I type this. It's time to shed the shorts for the bathing suit and head to the pool.

I have made several trips to FL and back for work (sorry for the 4 letter word) and every RV I see on the road, makes me thinking of times to come for us...... soon. Enjoy and be safe, we will join you FT soon.

I too have noticed many RV's on the road here in Michigan! I see them everyday on my commute to work!
(and I sigh everytime I see one because I want to be on the road in mine vacationing instead of making my way to work!)

Don't know about that. I look outside and see the Sun and then walk around in a shortsleeve shirt.

We never worry about cold gray days here in Sunny Southern Utah! We see hundreds of RVs heading both directions on I-15 every day. I know why those who are traveling south are going that direction but I can't for the life of me figure out why those who are going north are going that direction!

When we lived in the northeast, every Jarnuary we started going to every camping/RV show around. It was the closest we could come to camping without actually going. It helped with the cabin fever a bit.
Now we're full time and we're camping every day.

Can't say that we are especially fond of Florida but we live by the slogan that "comfort trumps everything else". Because we find wearing long pants uncomfortable guess we will have to force ourselves to continue to suffer through another Florida winter.

Isn't it great? So much diversity. But, yeah, I'm sitting in a nice place in northern Oregon, wishing I was driving south. But this morning, I woke up to new snow and everywhere I look it's white and beautiful. And very peaceful. So today is not grey.

Same here in Beaverton, Or. Beautiful rare snow falling on the valley floor. Very Nice. Sure want a weekend to go play in the RV though.

We went to the coach over the weekend to change the doorknobs on the terlit room door and bedroom door (removed the knobs and installed the levers) and I put up a wooden rack with small shaker pegs. After I finished, I sat in the drivers seat and I was really tempted to take her out (the coach ) and just go somewhere warm. DW brought me back to reality pretty quick .

Right now it is 73deg on my patio, and I went outside and took a picture of the cloudy overcast above my house.

Hey, "Sequim Guy", how come you left the great NW? Weather report for Sequim looks great this time of year.
