I've tried using both regular Velcro and Heavy Duty black Velcro, neither will stick to the walls in my NorthTrail. Eventually they all let go. I clean the wall first to make sure there's no film of any kind, but the Velcro still lets go. How are you folks hanging pictures in your RVs. What sticks to the walls of new RVs?

Command Brand strips by 3M. Works. Cheap. Easy.

I also installed the 3M Command Strips. Then I read the package. "Do Not Install on Wallpaper." Oops. (They are still hanging there, however.

Brief OT - Did not read if you made the trip up this way for Christmas as planned. If so - how bout that sleet, snow and cold. Did ya drive the Bounder up / out in it? Happy New Year.

Check out a product we found in Quartzsite a few years ago called RVFraimz.com. It's a cool product that frames your picture under a sheet of clear kinda like a screen protector for your camera. It's sticky around the outside like a stick note and you can change the pictures easily. They don't mar the surface at all and don't stick out from the surface like a frame. They give you really simple instructions on how to get your picture under the sheet and lined up perfectly.

x3..Same here. that's what we use. Pics still on the wall after 3 years of full timing. For heavier pics we pair them with 3M hooks or a nail in the wall. Then use the Command Strips for the sides.

Re: Nail in the wall... we were advised by the dealer specifically to NEVER put a nail in any outside wall of our RV. (For that matter, I'm not sure where electrical, etc. is routed so I never use nails, but that's just me.) For a more "permanent" placement, the 3M double-stick tape is also effective.

We have also used the special double sided tape as well as the Commander strips. The double sided tape will last about 3 years or 4 years or more before it dries up and lets go. We put the tape at both the bottom and the top of the pictures etc to keep them from moving. Of course we don't use any glass in the picture frames, just in case, we use the clear plastic that Walmart has to cover posters.

We have our pics on a digital frame. Frame is on my desk and is on random rotation. Might be a solution. ??

Is there a certain type for pictures? The 3M coat and key hooks fall off in a few days.

Thanks. These pics are already nicely framed and I would rather use what we already have.

The 3M doesn't stick any better than the Heavy Duty Velcro on the wallpaper in the NorthTrail. Velcro sticks to the fake woodgrain, but not the wallpaper.
