Has anyone received one of these in the Mail?

I got a Free 4 Days 3 nights Rv Camping Advertisement in the mail yesterday, its from a resort in Southern Minnesota. I am sure I will have too sit thru a sales pitch but if I call I can get a Kindle-reader or a $75.00 Camping World certificate as a bonus. I called the number on the ad and got a recording to leave a call back number which I did.
I have been to the Dominic Republic 8 times and sat thru a sales pitch for a free night or something like that. I am thinking its along the same lines.
Just wondering someones thoughts on the subject.
Thanks, Tim

It is a fast sales pitch. Depends on if you can hold up under their sales pitch. I went to "Coast to Coast" sales pitch near San Diego. Had a great weekend. Never bought anything.

We've been approached that way (not for this organization). We considered it briefly but they wanted more personal information than we were comfortable giving them in order to pre-qualify us as potential buyers.

Sometimes they do. However, when they ask I can make stuff up.

I recently received a mailing from a big RV dealer about 30 miles away. AFter scraping the appropriate panels, I found I was a winner! I'd get one of 4 prizes, the cheapest of which was a fishing rod. I didn't think a 60 mile round trip for a fishing rod was worth it. If you go, let us know how it works out for you. Remember, TNSTAAFL. (look it up)

They missed me. Florida must not be on their mailing list.

Remember the old saying "There is no FREE lunch". I try to live by it.

We have gotten several of these type offers over the years. Some of them we have tried and were satisfied as we basicly had to sit thru a sales pitch and do tours. Once while in North Georgia mountains we saw a sign at a new campground selling time shares. It said if you stopped and took the tour and listened to sales pitch, you got a free buffet lunch and a nice gift. We did this, had a nice lunch, and immediately after sales pitch my wife said thanks, now go get my food processor. They did and it was a good brand. We opted not to buy anything, but there were folks signing up. If you go, be careful what you sign and ifo you give out.

At the FMCA Rallies there are always Resort RV Parks giving free nites stay for listening to a sales presentation. The ones I have taken advantage of have never been hard sell. Some RV friends just spent a nice week in Idaho for free.

Right after we got our first RV,5 years ago, we were at CW and spending our heads off, (You know, first RV) we were approached by a sales rep for a local Washington RV Club (Time Share), BOY !! did we fall off trhe turnip truck !!
We bought into a club for about $6,000, by the time we had paided it off we were out about $8,000 and had dumped our RV due to old age and everything falling off.
We found out after not paying attention, and not saying NO enough times, we had bought into 8 resorts (LOL). No other benifits, only a promise someday they were going to buy more property, seven years later we still have 8.
Before you buy, say NO and go home and research the deal.
I have yet to find one that is worth the major dollers they cost.
