Discriminated against? Who me? All I can say is, you try growing up and living left-handed in a right-handed world. Seriously, discrimination of some sort happens every day to everyone, always has always will. It's called LIFE. Get over it, it's small stuff and not worthy of just one gray hair.

I had at least 3 Sheriff Dept folks come out to "talk" to me about the written complaint trying to get me to rescind it.

Still need to do a Freedom of Information request to see if anything ended up in the deputy's file.

While I appreciate a Sheriff's hard job that doesn't mean that they should be completely unrestricted in their actions. They are supposed to be enforcing the LAW, they should be following the LAW.
Have you seen the video (Fox news) of a Florida State Trooper stopping a deputy sheriff who was driving 120 MPH on the interstate? The female state trooper held him a gun-point while writing citations. Seems troopers had unsuccessfully tried to stop the deputy several times previously and he outran them. The deputy told the trooper he was late for his off-duty job.

And I applaud her.. In Wisconsin, we had county Sheriffs that got a little 'big headed'. I, myself, have had to have a Trooper show up and 'explain' the legal aspects of 'harassment'. Teens, good or bad, and even just 'passing through' were stopped, harassed, held for hours, etc. It got to the point they all started getting stopped and investigated by the State Police. The whole village signed a petition to have several officers removed..
