Discriminated against? Who me? All I can say is, you try growing up and living left-handed in a right-handed world. Seriously, discrimination of some sort happens every day to everyone, always has always will. It's called LIFE. Get over it, it's small stuff and not worthy of just one gray hair.

I made a formal written complaint about a Sheriff car passing me doing 80mph in an 55 zone with no lights on etc. 10 minutes later I came across his car in a restaurant parking lot. Called the Patrol Office and got a Sgt who said the deputy could do whatever he wanted, so I made a written complaint. I had at least 3 Sheriff Dept folks come out to "talk" to me about the written complaint trying to get me to rescind it.
Still need to do a Freedom of Information request to see if anything ended up in the deputy's file.
While I appreciate a Sheriff's hard job that doesn't mean that they should be completely unrestricted in their actions. They are supposed to be enforcing the LAW, they should be following the LAW.
Have you seen the video (Fox news) of a Florida State Trooper stopping a deputy sheriff who was driving 120 MPH on the interstate? The female state trooper held him a gun-point while writing citations. Seems troopers had unsuccessfully tried to stop the deputy several times previously and he outran them. The deputy told the trooper he was late for his off-duty job.
