i saw one exactly like this in banff np last year, except the head was a brand new volvo. i had a short chat with the owner, he told me that in order to convince dmv for an rv plate, he had to add 1) tv; 2) a bed; 3) a bathroom, into the head!! the smart is lifted by a hydraulic - another add-on system. it looked very catchy, surely not a small budget thing.

he mentioned some rallies in us westcoast and other parts...

Have less than 35k in mine. I load with ramps. Ramps are easy. Don't see need in loader. They are nice though

Actually, Greg did NOT build that Volvo. The couple that owns that rig bought it new and factory singled and it was painted to match the Vegas Nights paint scheme of the DRV. We were next to them at the HDT rally in Hutch last year and look forward to seeing them at the ECR in a few weeks.

By the way, we take up the same room as my LWB crewcab dually needed on the road, I'm just a little taller and the same width all the down the truck.

Ok. My mistake.... I was on the Rvhaulers website and I thought I saw a truck that looked close to that one that Greg had worked on. It sure is a beautiful rig. Love the colors of the truck, Smart car and trailer. If we go back to a 5th wheel at some point, I would definitely look into a class 8 truck (Volvo) to pull it.

I think that was us....Gregg@RV Haulers did our hydraulic Smart Car/ motorbike/ Side X Side bed. Usually haul two motorbikes and a Smart Car and am just working on a deal on a Polaris RZR 1000XP.

It was nice talking to you out there! I remember checking out that custom battery bank you had built......very impressive. How are the lithium batteries holding up for you?
