Tomorrow morning we leave for our shake down trip. We only got one trip in the TT last summer, so we are excited.

We're broke after stocking the camper for the season and buying all the food and adult beverages for the next week, but we are excited. We will be attending a music festival from Tuesday until Sunday.

We have 10 cases of beer in the TT plus a ton of jell-o shots, so it looks a little bad, but it's not all ours. I promise!! We will have people joining us later on in the week and instead of them having to haul cases of beer from day parking on the other side of the festival grounds to our camper, we just always buy everyone's beer before hand and store in the camper.

Not that anyone is really all that interested, but this is the festival that we are attending. It is called Larry Joe Taylor's 18th Annual Texas Music Festival and Chili Cook-Off. http://www.larryjoetaylor.com/music_fest_18/home.htm This will be our 6th year to attend.

The line up is as follows: (the Tarleton Stage is acoustic, the main stage is your normal concert set up) (Tuesday night was limited to 300 tickets and Wednesday was limited to 500 tickets. On the other nights, you can expect closer to 20,000 to attend.

LOL. The sad thing is that I don't even like country music very much!

A lot of my friends from high school make it to the festival so we have our own little mini reunions every year. The way the camping works, once you get a spot, you have the option of keeping that spot every year. However, if you do not call and reserve it again during the alloted time period, you lose the site and it goes back into the main pool. It's nice to have an idea where everyone will be.

I am just getting so tired of all the 'prep work'. I know we are getting prepped for the entire camping season, but it is getting so old to just keep buying things and loading them in the camper and not getting to do anything with them.

We'll spend all day Wednesday smoking a brisket. It should be fun.
