They only have about 10 parking slots there, so an early lunch or dinner might be best unless you are bicycling or walking the city. You will be a block North of the Southernmost Point Bouy too.

There was an El Siboney up here in Marathon. Unfortunately it has closed

The skirt steak is one of the top five steaks that I have ever had. I've had more than my share of red meat so I know good cow!

My wife.
Actually there is a store on Green street down by Mallory Square that has a very good Key Lime Pie.
Anyone stop at Baby's Coffee? It will make you forget about Starbucks.

Consistently Best Key Lime Pie, for me, The trading Post on Islamorada-get their Pie -to Go- on the way down. It has been good for 25 years. They have a best pie contest every year, and the Trading Post is always in the top 5- the others come & go, but the Trading Post is always ranked high.

No worries about that. You can't turn around without running into a Publix in Florida. There are ones in Key Largo, Marathon and two in Key West.

DW bought 3 bottles of Key Lime juice at Publix in KW. It must be refrigerated to last, even if unopened, so says the label. She made one last week, MMM good, not good for my sugar level though.

We just drove down (I guess it's really over since it is west) to Key west Thursday for the day. It was a dog food and T-shirt run plus lunch.
Had one St. Bernardus ABT 12 Belgian beer for only $11 at World of Beer. Well worth it. Lunch at Smokin Tuna. It's on Charles St. a one block street off Duval down the street from The Bull. Had a great Mahi sandwich. Grabbed a couple of giant freezy drinks at Flying Monkeys but had DW hang onto mine until we got back to Marathon since I was driving.
A fun day. We spent much more on T-shirts and sweatshirts than food or drinks.

Did you happen to see a couple walking around with 3 Springer Spaniels? That was us. We walked right past World of Beers (ate lunch there last week) and were hanging around Duval street. Stopped at Hogs Breath for a few beers.
