Heater Question

This is the first time we have used the heater. Question is should the ac blower be running up top while the thermostat is set to furnace? The heater is working though not blowing very hard from the floor vents but the a/c fan runs on low speed constantly through he upper vents.

Mine are Coleman heat pumps/ac and propane heaters. If I turn the thermostat on electric and heat the heat pumps come on and if it is cool enough the propane heaters will come on long enough to assist the heat pump up to temp. Then the heat pumps keep it warm until it gets down to around 40. Then I need to change over to propane which turns off the heat pumps and only allows the propane heaters to run. Sounds like you may have it set on electric and heat. That's the only time both propane and heat pumps run at the same time on ours.

Nevermind it is operator error. I forgot to turn the fan back to auto from earlier in the day. Hard to figure out in the middle of the night lol.
