We like Cherry Hill, but they have uped their rates to $60 a night and we need a place for 30 nights. No extended stay discounts. Any suggestions? Help.

There is a national park in the same area as Cherry Hill called Green Belt Park. They offer camping and online reservations for $14 per night. However, they have no hookups, like most national parks.

Also if you are retired or current military, there is Andrews Air Force Base.

There is a park South of DC called Prince William Travel Trailer Village. Here are a couple of links to webpages about them.

We stayed there a few years ago. It is nice and clean all the sites are paved. It is not fancy, but is a good value.

Try Duncans Family Campground.

http://www.duncansfamilycampground.com/rates.htm

According to their website, $575.00 per month, plus electric. Free cable TV, and they will discount AAA, Good Sam, or Military.

It's an OK park, about 20 miles East of DC, and not too far from a Metro station. I've stayed there, and would again.
