Help with purchase decision!

I'm looking at a 2003 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 36PED to buy.

Any comments on this rig? Or Holiday Rambler in general?

Holiday Ramblers are built by Monaco in the same plants as the Monaco brand coaches and generally have a good reputation.

We really like ours, it's on the W-22 chassis. After two years and more than 25K miles later, we still think it's a winner. Love the Allison and the house is well built. Bob

Well, it looks like we'll be changing our signature and avitar!

Sold the Winnebago and put a deposit on the 03 HR Vacationer model 36WDD.

I'm looking forward to a little newer and updated coach with a little more horsepower than we had. This one goes to 22.5 tires from the 19.5 we had on the Winnie and I understand this makes for a better ride. We like the idea of the split bathroom and separate dinette on the newer coach rather than the all-in-one bathroom and eating booth.

That's the beauty of changing to a different coach....you know what you don't like after having the last one!

Congratulations...you'll love it! You're right, the 22.5s make a difference. We refined the ride a little more by installing Koni FSDs and a rear trac bar for stability. Those two upgrades improved the handling so well, we felt we could fore go all other 'improvements'. Many happy (s)miles to you. Bob
