Here we go!

First trip of the year here we go! Snow expected over Dinner Summit so we are taking the safe route. South on highway 5 to Death Valley. Had bad feelings about taking 80 in the snow. So safety #1 and chatting with the truckers for us. Be safe y'all and see you on the road!

LOL "Dinner" summit not sure if you meant to do that or not. Anyways, have a safe trip.

Donner summit. Just been having having bad feelings about driving the class A in the snow and wind. We saw 3 class As last year with wheels up in decent weather. Been stressing for days because we were meeting someone else to caravan. Logic and dread finally won out and we are meeting with them down south. They understood my fears.

We're from Reno, just the other side of Donner Summit and it's a good thing you decided to change your route. This morning the wind is blowing like crazy and would not be good for towing! Looks like bad weather is coming in also! Better to be safe than sorry.

Baha, How big is your MH? 40+?

Hiway 190 from Keeler (east of Lone Pine)
is closed to MH over 40'.

But if you are using I5 you are probably coming into DV from the south.

Enjoy the warm weather!

Intentional or not, it's still funny. Unless your were dinner.

Traveling in snow is something I do not want to do. Besides the snow I really want to avoid the salt they spread. Underneath still looks like new and I want to keep it that way.
