Well I watched the show last night. It seemed very similar to the '09 show. Same format but some of the rigs were different. It was fun to see some of the new rigs with new layouts and new features.

Always enjoy watching it, but makes me wish I could afford to go out and buy whatever I wanted instead of what I can really afford. Some nice new touches to the RV's. John H...

I guess we were treated to our one show a year. I have always enjoyed RV and camping shows. Unfortunately companies in the RV and camping business don't realize that by not advertizing they will go away. All we see today is how to remodel a 4 million dollar home and let's remodel the kitchen and bathroon again and again. I have quit watching the crap that we are being treated to. There are no more good "how to" shows. HGTV had better wake up.

HGTV is an entertainment network, not a how-to network. Have you tried DIY instead? It seems to have more how-to stuff.

More and more RVs are becomming like homes. For some of us they are our homes. We are currently holding up in our daughter's house while she is in Iraq. I have watched a lot of TV and DYI shows. Out of that I have a lot of new ideas for the MH. I am adding a few new cabinets and doing some glass tile work. I will post pics when complete. No I haven't see any how to fix the motorhome shows, but I saw a lot of shows that gave me ideas of what to do to the MH to make it a little more modern and get away from the standard cookie cutter design. I am thankful for this site and I can get all the fix the RV stuff here that I need.

They're all entertainment networks or at least they used to be. My point is that the progamming has changed for the worst. We have no camping shows or Rv shows. The how to shows are not as good as the once were.

I agree camping and RV shows on TV are very limited.

This is the first year (that I can remember) the show did not include at least one slide in camper. I guess they are not the way to go anymore?

They didn't even mention them this year, much less show one. I guess they really are considered passé.

DW sent an email suggesting to HGTV that RV's be featured for remodels and that kind of thing! It would be cool if we had a thread just dedicated to remodels on the forum. I am thinking about retiling our MH as the rug is looking pretty rough. Changing the hardware from gold to black or pewter and stuff like that. We have already upgraded the TV's.
DIY has a site dedicated to "how to" for home. Some of it applies to our rigs but nothing rig specific, which would be cool.

To be completely honest, I've been trying to pitch the idea of a series based off of Steinbeck's old book, Travels with Charley, but on a much broader scale for a while, with no luck.
