I hope not. We're on our way to Key West and the prices have been going up as we get further south. Was $3.65 at a Loves this last fill-up. We're from
VA and I know your gase taxes are higher in MD. Think we paid $3.43 on our first fill up in VA a week ago.
Bottom line: we must go RVing, so we must cut back in other areas to afford the fuel.

Everyone will have to deal with this situation by doing whatever is best for their circumstances. As for myself, I will cut back in other areas where possible so that I can continue to rv at my current level. Since I no longer take really long trops anymore due to age and health, I believe I can keep on going. There is another dark side to high fuel. Last time high fuel and poor economy killed a lot of RV manufactoring outfits. Finding parts to keep older rv's going may get a lot more difficult, as if it isnt already. A lot of us that rv are retired so we know pretty well what funds we have coming in, and what is going out. I plan to use my moho as often and for as long as I am able to do so physically.

Gas is 3.559 as I came to work, diesel at the same station was 4.199. The gas is among the cheapest but I can get diesel cheaper.
Headed out for Phoenix in a while, hope it doesn't go up too much more but I don't think our government is helping hold the prices down!

We have a great state park 20 miles from us. We go once a month. We see no changes coming.

Taking a trip from Texas to California this summer. I've recalculated up to $6/gallon and will adjust by not eating downtown as much ... Basically bring home made lunches and then bring our own food on the trip versus eating out. The trip is a greater experience for the kids versus new toys for them or me!

We don't fulltime, yet, but we will not let the rising gas prices deter us from our planned outings this year. Life is too short not to enjoy it ..we never want to live with the "what if"" or "wish we would have"...live life and enjoy!!!

I am amazed that back in 2008 July diesel was $4.65 and gas was $3.93 amazing how this 4 year cycle works. I bet come November it mite just drop again well I hope it does at this point I can't afford to run my moho to the G-store to buy food dor a trip much less go on a trip.

Maybe everyone should write to your state representative and tell them that because the environmentalists believe gas should be $20.00 a gallon and with a carbon tax on top of that is no reason to allow us to be gouged by the speculators and the gas companies.
The gas companies are happily proving the environmentalists correct by increasing the price every time these wingnuts put out press releases about a pending gas hike. I'm starting to think that these groups are funding themselves with the profits on their fuel shares.

High, and higher fuel prices are here to stay - and with our MH tank holding 80 gallons, and at the $4.00 a gallon it will be by spring, that's $320 for a fill up that will take us about 600 miles, you can bet we'll carefully weigh our MH trips - fortunately, our 5er and '02 Dodge/Cummins combo gets *3 times* the mpg as the MH - so at least we have a lower cost alternative...
LESSEE - if I was to cut back on the $5-$6 McDonald's lunches 5 days a week, it would only take several months "savings" to fill either the MH or truck tank...
Who are we kidding here...?

When diesel was over way $4.00 in 1998 the coach sat in the shed and it really P****d me off. I don't understand why we are so dependent on foreign oil when we have one of the largest deposits in the world right here in North America. Remember that in Nov.
