Holding Tanks Indicator says empty all the time

Hi,
my holding tanks indicate that they are empty or at the lowest level on my status panel. We have a 2001 Holiday Rambler Ambassador. I have read about the indicators being stuck at the higher levels, but have not read anything about the indicators being stuck at the bottom level. I guessing that I have an open circuit somewhere.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Some holding tank monitors have an adjustment. Mine has a little hole under each tank indicator and a small plastic adjustment tool! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

the Black and the Gray tanks both indicate empty all the time. all the other tanks seem to be registering normally.

If they show empty all the time, even when full or nearly full, the obviously it can't be adjustment.

I would check the connections at each end first. If you are familiar with using an ohmmeter you could disconnect the wires at both ends, put a resistor of known value across the two wires, and read the resistance at the other end.

Are the sensors the external type that attach to the outside of the tank?

Check the ground wire on the tank. On mine, the screw snapped off and the wire was hanging down. Reattached to the frame and it starting working again.
