We have a 2008 with a Cummins so some differences of course. IF the one you are looking at is 40' single rear axel take a look at the weight and the actual spec sheet on the unit. Mine was sold as a 40 footer but the actual length is 41.5 . No big issue but the weight of this thing really was too much for the 8 bag stock chassis. It was a whale going down the road. Adding front and rear sway bars, ride check valves, and new shocks it rides the way it should but still wanders just the slightest. I suspect a tag axel takes that nonsense out.

Probably HR's best selling model and twin sister to the Monaco Diplomat, also a best seller. Overall it is an excellent mid-line coach, with lots of nice features for the money. Individual floor plans and years differ, sometimes quite a bit, so check the one you like carefully, as YC1 suggests.

Check on the engine which powers the latest models of Monaco and HR. They will most likely be the Navastar MaxForce 10 (or something close to that) and have been the subject of numerous discussions. Check the Monaco owners forums for more details. That's all I'm going to say on that.

Good point about the Navistar engine on a 2013 Roadmaster. Not all that many werer built and no longer in production since Navistar sold Monaco/HR to Fleetwood earlier this year. You won't find many shops accustomed to servicing a Navistar powered motorhome. That's not a show-stopper, but may be a continuous nuisance.

2007 Endeavor

I have a chance to pick up a 2007 HR Endeavor with 11,500 miles..always garaged for $130K. Is that a good deal?

bprohs It will be a great deal providing it has been serviced regularly , the generator run and of course it throughly checked out. Look at the dates on the tires if they have not been replaced

The Endeavor is now HR's top model, they no longer make the Navigator, Admiral or Scepter.

Monaco/ Holiday Rambler has not built any coaches since being acquired by ASV which is also the parent company of American Coach and Fleetwood. They are showing their newly designed Dynasty now in Louisville & will have it at the Tampa Super Show. Regular production will start first quarter of next year. It appears that reintroduction of the Navigator is high on their list of priorities.

The Endeavor the OP is looking at was built by Navistar RV. The new Monaco will cover its warrantee completely and will support in the future with tach support and parts.
