Hooking up RV park TV cable to Thor Hurricane RV

Problem is I cannot find the outside TV cable jack on my 2008 Class A Thor Hurricane motorhome. Have looked all over but cannot find it. Does anyone have knowledge where it might be? Tried to hook up the TV cable from the RV park to my motorhome but there seems to be no outside connection anywhere. I'm surprised it's not in an easy location to find.

Hello and . We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
It is possible that the coach is not wired for an external cable TV connection. Usually they will be located in the same compartment as the electrical power cord. I have found some cable connections in some hard to find areas, like on the ceiling in a corner and it could have been easily missed. You can always call Thor customer support for help if one of our members cannot.

Look in the utility bay [city water and black & grey dump valves] look for a tv connector in that area. Doubtful that it doesn't have one. It should be on the utility side of the coach. Let us know what you find.

Some older coaches may not have them, but I'd be stunned if 2008 didn't

do u have connections INSIDE the coach - maybe trace it back to see where they go...

worse case scenario, after calling Thor, is to go to lowe's or HD and buy a wall connector and a cable, then run your own good luck

I think the majority on cable hookups are located in the cargo bay where the electrical power cable is hooked up. On my '02 Georgetown, that's where it is, on the aft wall, along with a phone socket.

When we first used it, the TV reception was horrible, so I did some troubleshooting. I finally figured the coax from the cargo bay socket up to the switching box in the front overhead was bad. I had initially considered installing a new socket in the cargo bay under the driver's seat and running the cable into the overhead by going up the windsheld corner-post trim, but in the end, I removed the bedroom TV and hooked into its link to the front end. We don't watch TV in bed!

Look in Cargo Bay

In the utility bay there is a connection next to the 110V outlet. You have to pull the cover down. In my 2005 Hurricane the cable TV and telephone in in what looks like an electrical outlet cover.

Hooking up RV park TV cable to 2008 Thor Hurricane RV

Thanks to all who sent suggestions. I did find the connector. It's located on the outside of the motorhome behind on the utility side in what I thought were electrical outlets (the covers are the same). One cover is for the cable connection, the other for telephone jack. I didn't see it because it was right in plain sight. Thanks again!
