Nope, I'm not talking about guys flying down the freeway at crazy speeds but those campers who build and show off their Hot Rods.

A fellow I work with recently spent several days at the Good Guys car show in Hershey Pennsylvania. The Hershey campground was filled to capacity with campers and their cars. Many of the cars were big dollar cars brought in on trailers, while others were driven out pulling campers.

Below are a couple pictures my friend took pulling out of his house with his car and a couple more at the campground.

The last picture is of a car pulling a vintage Scotty.

Any other hot rod fans pulling a camper?

Check out the mirrors in the last picture...Great for Towing

Have you considered coming to Carson City, Nevada in August to attend the worlds largest "Show-n-Tell" for old cars ?

The celebration is called "HOT AUGUST NIGHTS" and last about a week.
There is a big parade of old cars down the main street of Reno on a couple of days.

and every day "Convoys" of them travel to the events and shows in the surrounding towns..

Then there is all the city parks and shopping centers and fairgrounds that are absolutely packed with the cars..

We are talking about thousands of cars and three times that many people..

But you better plan waaaaay ahead for hotel reservations... and I mean waaaaay ahead, like a year ..

Usually by the middle of July, every hotel, motel, RV park and campground for fifty miles around is packed full..

hope to see you here,
John
