Hot spot recommendations
My wife would like to be able to use her computer for work while we drive/park at a rv park thereby allowing us more 4 day weekends. She has an Iphone/AT&T plan but son stated that due to having the unlimited plan she can't use it with her computer. In any event we would appreciate any recommendations for obtaining hot spot information/plans.
Thank you in advance for your help !

Rather than taking advice from your son, why not just call AT&T. It's been my experience that if she has an unlimited plan and "hot spot" capabilities on the phone that she can activate the 'hot spot' and link up with her computer. I have Verizon Unlimited and use the phone frequently in that capacity.

Hot spot recommendations
The son may be correct ...
The old grandfathered unlimited plan from years ago was ON PHONE. only so if you have that your son is correct. I gave up my grandfathered plan when it became subject to “ management “ just like the newer ( and now cheaper) plans
My att plan I switched to ( again gone) from a couple years ago was unlimited on phone ,but managed but let me hotspot 15g perhaps it’s time to “upgrade”
Rv mobile internet ( google) is a great site for info on staying connected. I pay for a subscription because the DW NEEDS connection and it’s worth every penny ! They have saved me a bunch! but the public site has plenty of info

We have unlimited with T-Mobile. Use as hotspot all the time when on the road. 2 lines unlimited for $60.00 taxes included. Must be over 55.

Yes, If I were you, I would call ATT or go online. There plans have changed. We use to have just a 15gb plan, and changed it to the 3gb plan because we do not use the hotspot function at all. We were only using an average of 1.5 gb a month, then the rest would carry over. So now, we only get 3gb and carry over, but the best part is there is no charge for going over the 3 gb, they just slow the speed down. I'm good with that since I don't use my phones for business hotspot.
But, yes call, you might be surprised how things change all the time.

We tether with both our ATT and T mobile plans.
