How clean bugs off front of rig after drive?
What's your routine for cleaning bug remains off your rig after a day's drive? We need to get them off the windshield and I know it's important to not let them stay on the front end paint, but what's your preferred method for removing them?

Early in our full-timing adventure, someone taught us that warm water and car washing soap takes them off quite easily if they are fresh. The water doesn't have to be hot enough to burn your hands, but the warmer the better.

If you will apply a coat of Rejex to the front cap before you travel those bugs just slip right off!

For the windshield nothing works better than SOS pads.

Clear water and an extension pole with a brush. I usually ask at check-in, and have never been refused.

Rejex before trip and rinse and brush after stop, small pressure washer if needed.

You'll get as many different answers as there are posts here. Here's mine. Spray with Simple Green, let set 5 minutes (unless it's really hot out - then it dries too fast so you have to work quicker), then scrub with a wet scrubbie-sponge on the end of an adjustable pole (the scrubbies are like the ones you find in the windshield washer bins at the gas station).

Bugs-n-all works great. It’s not cheap but the bugs really do just wipe off.

The secret is preparation before you drive. Before EVERY trip, it only takes a few minutes to spray something on the front of the coach. You can use wax, Pledge, 303, it doesn't matter, just get something on there. On buggy days, I use one of the above cleaners to clean off the bugs, giving it protection for the next round.
The windshield, you just have to use what you're comfortable with. I leave it alone, depending on the season. If I have some big bug splats, I use a ladder, a nylon scrub pad and window cleaner. If the weather is nice, I may pull out the pole scrubber and clean the windshield and then wax the front end.
The few minutes you spend putting something on the front end will save you much more time trying to get the bugs off later.

Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner. Spray it on in shade, let sit for 5 minutes, extension pole with a soft brush dipped in water, and scrub em off, rinse. Does not hurt any type of finish, cheap, and works even with dried gug butts.
Also removes black streaks.
Lot easier than trying to wipe down front of rig/windshield with an itty bitty dryer sheet.

Be carful using Dawn or Simple Green because it will remove the wax on your coach where you use it.
