If you need to spray/kill bugs inside your RV, an ammonia based glass cleaner works great. You can even spray it in the pantry and on the countertops with no worries.
It also removes the scent trail ants leave/follow.

Will that work on cockroaches ?
We had a cockroach inside the RV last night, and you would have thought it was a cobra, the way the DW went on .............
Still I need to keep the things out, in order to get a good nights sleep, what do y'all recommend ?

Those roach motels work pretty good from what I experienced years ago when my room mate brought them with him. Raid is good too.

Those roaches can be tough SOBs.
Raid spray smells so bad, I can't use it.
The Ortho Home Defense works well and has virtually no smell.

We were down south for 8 months and left to go racing roughly once a month for a week at a time. As I said I found mud daubers in our truck we had with us but nothing in rv. I would see ants making a highway to the roof, following the edge of the front cap all the way up. They would be going up and coming down constantly but I never saw a single one inside. I did encounter two roaches. Always right after we bought groceries from the same walmart. Started taking groceries out of the bags before bringing into rv. Never saw another one thank god. Also had wasps coming and going from under rv but when checked found nothing. Still can't figure out what the ants were doing. I hate south georgia! Too any things trying to bite, sting, eat and kill you!

Nope - no ladybug. It's an ugly little beast about the size of a small fingernail - another wonderful import from China in 1998 that has spread like crazy. We had a veritable plague of them here in central Maryland a couple years ago and they were damned near everywhere. Not so many this year, but there were still a bunch of them appearing from hibernation this spring. They seek shelter for the winter indoors - including and especially, in our case, in our motorhome. They kept appearing, crawling up walls and across the ceiling as they came out of hiding, trying to get outside. I even found one hunkered down inside the under-dash fuse block when I went to check a fuse.

And yes, they give off a stink when disturbed! You are not going to want to pick them up with bare fingers. It's not skunk-strong, but its unpleasant. We use a little Black & Decker rechargeable vacuum with a hose and crevice tool to suck them up. But be ready with the room freshener. The only good thing about the little bastards is they do not reproduce inside - thank goodness!

Stink bugs are big and stick when you smush them.
The ones that look like black ladybugs are Kudzu beetles. They are harmless, but are attracted to white for some reason.
I found that out the hard way last year while painting my house!

As to your ant issue, if you saw what you described, I'm sure they have set up shop in your rig.
You need to follow that trail and find the nest.

I agree. I had this same issue years ago and found the ants had set up shop under one of my AC shrouds. I suggest you take a can of ant spray and a screwdriver up top and prepare to do battle. Then stick a few of those plastic ant bait pods under it.
