How do you watch over cab TVs?

Looking for first MH. Seems most all 2008 or older have that "pain in the neck" design. How do you deal with it? We've rented a few times.

Gave up on those and got a 27" LED Backlit computer monitor/TV. We just sit in the sofa and put the screen on a fold out table on the other side of the MH. Very energy efficient.

Some will run directly on 12 Volts DC, which is great when not hooked up to an AC line.

Toss the swivel chair and put in a new Computer/TV Cabinet. Toss out the couch and put in two LazyBoys across from the new Samsung 32" TV. No more "pain in the neck"

Sit outside, visit with the neighbors, drink soda and beer....

Bad weather or time for news, pull out laptop, plug in tv usb adapter, and set on table in front of couch.

The large TV cabinet we use for more storage..

We had our coach re-done by Truline RV in Spokane, WA. This was a small part of the grand total. Turned out really nice, very happy. You can get the full story from their website. Just google Trulinerv.com

Take a look at this site, they did the Reno to our coach. We were very happy but if nothing else, it will give you some ideas of what is possible. If you can dream it, these guys can make it.

Some of the newer Winnebago models have a 40 inch tv that rises from a cabinet between the dinette and the wall. They then mount the sofa on the opposite wall. Look at the 34B

We had the same delima. So, my son-in-law helped me to make a storage cabinet in the location of the cab over tv and we moved it to the mid ship wall. Now both front chairs, turned around, couch, and one additional swivel chair can face the 32" tv. And it's all for sale.
