We will be staying in Quartzsite during January and February. The RV park we are staying in, Quail Run RV Park, does not have much wifi.

Can anyone tell me how the AT&T cell signal is in the Quartzsite (north side of town) area?

Luke
Currently in Tualatin, OR

Not sure about AT&T but Verison was fine, can you pull up a coverage map from AT&T, not much around Quartzsite, but power lines to interfere.Quail Run's wifi hot spots weren't great but there was signal, we have a Linksys, USB antenna on our laptop and picked up signal from the front row, but the park was almost empty in mid March when we were there; we had line of sight to the rec. center

Probably about like it is everywhere else in the country, AWFUL! I suffered with AT&T for about a year before I went to Cellular South and i'm amazed at the difference! Good luck & God bless!

Skip426,

This is the external wifi adapter I use and it is amazing. ¤Wave Magnum || - USB WiFi Adapter

If you used a Linksys, then I should be able to get a good signal. I think we are in the second row in back of the office.

Luke

I tried to respond once already but I must have done something wrong , as I lost it.
I've only stayed in the park once. The area your in is right on top of the main hot spot, so your signal should be ok.Up at Parker Dam we have to go with NPG Cable for internet. No one gets good cell sevice there.

AT&T is very hit and miss across the desert from California to Phoenix. I make that trip several times a year and suffered with it until I got Verizon...now there is no interruption in service.

Just switched over to Verizon today after about 6-7 years of AT&T. AT&T is fine in the city, but once you get a few miles into a more rural area, forget it. For years everyone would be talking away on their cells at a CG, and we would be planning a day trip the next day to an area where the AT&T map would say we "might" get service.

The test will be next month at a State Park where we have never gotten any service. Campers with Verizon can talk away.....
