Our Norcold (N621?) had the cooling system replaced 10 years ago on warranty. Has worked quite well since then. No, it is not part of the expanded recall.

05 dometic bought used in 10 put 10,000 miles on.on way home from ak freezer works fine gas & elec fridge warm had to put stuff on ice.have checked when get home

2006 Country Coach Intrigue . . . Norcold 1200 series . . . it is really LOUSY at cooling both in the frig and freezer. OMC will be seeing us very shortly for a new refer. We're considering the Samsung RF197 or RF 217.

Had an '88 Toyota Dolphin that I traded off in '09 that was running fine. I had the electric element replacement in '92. The '04 has had the factory recall repair and cooling fan repair, and that was a reversed wiring fix that was created by the tech that did the recall. Other than that, it too continues to run fine.

My TT was 20 years old and the frigs was working great. My current MH is 24 years old and the previous owner replaced it 2 years ago. So is maintained they should last many years.

1996 Norcold. 110V and propane.. Works as good as my one at home. And stays cold in 100+ heat..Looks and runs like new....

I'm encouraged. Ours is 7 years old and works like a champ. Also had the latest recall done. The last 2 summers, we've had it on 24/7 for over 5 months. We don't use the icemaker and I keep the cooling fin drain cup filled with about an inch of water to keep the drain hose submerged...both cut down on the frost considerably...still I'm knocking on wood here. My new 1974 Dometic works great on elect. I haven't checked it on gas yet. It looks worn enough to be original.
