Hi all, we are enduring this lovely winter an hour north of Grand Rapids, in Big Rapids. As much snow on the ground this year as we've ever had! We are hoping to make it south to Florida around the 8th of March and will stay until the snow is gone. We have the RV sitting in its spot on the driveway, kept it shoveled out all winter. We will need a friend to come down with his end loader to knock back the snow banks so we can make the swing out of our driveway though! Snow banks are way to high...LOL!

T55watson---can you recommend a particular site # for Topsail? I'm hoping to make some late season reservations for our next trip down.

Northville here. Born/raised in Jackson, most of adult life in Detroit metro with a 5 year transfer to CA in the early '90s. The RV sleeps in the snow on our lot in a park near Homer (north of Coldwater) and I can Almost see the tops of the tires.

Like everyone just waiting for the melt-off (Memorial Day ?) and thinking maybe Hershey PA this year. Wife still works so mostly limited to 1-week VTs at this point.

Been in Florida since Dec. 1. What a winter to be a Snowbird in sunny Florida!
This is our 5th year wintering in Florida since retiring from GM in 2008.

It appears that we are one of the few not leaving for Florida in the near future. We'll hold the fort down while your gone.

Born an raised in Niles, married and spent 4yrs. in the USAF, raised family in Buchanan. We moved to Allegan in 95 until 2004, then settled in Cape Coral FL until June of 2013, now full timing staying on family's property and following the good weather. June thru August in SW MI (pic 1), then off to Ramona CA (pic 2) until the first of the year and off to SE Texas (not sure where) in a camp ground until the end of May. This year we have stayed in Ramona until March 15th. due to weather and medical care.

Born and raised in the Lansing area most of our lives, Moved to North Carolina in 09 and haven't looked back other than a vacation back to the mitten around labor day. Sure don't miss that snow one bit, even after spending 25 years driving a Two Truck. Couple more years to go and we'll be full timin it via RV.
