How many of you have or have tried a Latex mattress?

Thinking of changing out mattresses and reading about full latex mattresses. Who has really given them a try? How thick do they need to be? Do they develop a sag spot or hole where you lay down? Should I consider them?

We consider it, but didnít make the jump. We went with a foam topper and fir now, it was a cost effective approach. But Iím curious to see what others have to share.

We added a memory foam topper in last MH and it made a difference. We did go with the best one we found at a W-World... I think it was 2". I wouldn't recommend the thinner cheaper ones.
Current MH came w a sleep # mattress that seems to work for us.

We had a latex mattress, wicked comfortable for a couple years, then started to leave body imprint on both sides. After 4 years we complained to sleepy's about it,they offered full refund toward another mattress, said they no longer carry the one we had. We are not large people, so I just think it's the nature of the latex.Too bad as I loved it for the first 2 years, most comfortable mattress I ever slept on. The memory foam/hybrid that I have now=ok, nothing more nothing less. JMHO.
Edit
We put a memory foam topper on the MH bed=awesome.

We use latex toppers at home and in the RV. We love them. They sleep much cooler than a memory foam.

We bought a 100% natural latex 2" topper and really love it! We had them cut it to fit the RV mattress.

Unidentified Lying Object

I wish I had more info but.....

I bought a 2003 Starcraft TT. It was the 100th anniversary edition and came with the most comfortable mattress I have ever seen in a camper. It weighs a ton (yea I still have it) and we have traded it out when we bought the three campers since the Starcraft. I and a friend flipped rolled and couldn't find an identifying label. You now the one that probably said "do not remove under penalty of law".

I am on my second latex in the S&B and have a latex topper in the RV. I am very happy with both. They sleep much cooler than memory foam.

I had a natural latex mattress for about 6 years before in moved on. It was great, extra firm, but I put a memory foam top layer. A bit far to the floor, but I found it comfortable for the entire time I had the mattress. Even moved it twice, queen size, what a bear! The mattress was two blocks of latex up and down. I'm thinking of replacing the queen in the MH with a latex block.

We have a SleeponLatex topper for the coach and also have one for our bed in the house. Both are etremely comfortable and not hot. Just bought a 5Ē mattress from them to go under the topper. Old mattress was a Sleep number that had developed a lot of top cover compression. DW did not want to go with any of the others because they arenít pure latex.

My son and his wife went through a couple of the others and returned them both. One way too soft, other way to hard.

Real latex mattresses are too expensive. We use a 3 inch memory foam topper on our cheap OEM pillow too mattress and have a high quality mattress pad.
