How many Weekend Warriors headed out for the official start of the season?
We have already been out a few times this year but always look forward to Memorial Day weekend. Our favorite campground opens on Friday and we try to always be the first ones to arrive for the season Will be loading up a couple of grandkids and heading out first thing Friday morning. Hope everyone has a great start to the season!

We never travel on memorial day weekend.
But we do have a nice camp site right here on the farm.
So burgers will be served!
Have a blast.

We'll be in our RV the entire weekend.
However it will beside our house as the house will be full of company.
Hope you have fun! Oh, and count all the RV's on the road, helps pass the time.

89Sandman, We've been out a couple of times but we too look forward to Memorial day weekend, we are actually headed out to our favorite spot tonight, will be camping with about 4 other couples and their campers, always a good time with friends. Fishing, campfire stories, good friends and your favorite refreshment doesn't get much better.
Enjoy your weekend!!!

We're going with 2 of my sisters with their families. The campground is very small so it shouldn't be too bad. It's also the shake down trip for the new HTT

It used to be that Mother's Day was our first trip of the year (colder climate), but we have been camping since March in the warmer climate we live in now. We would be out this weekend, even with the crowds, if I didn't have so much to do at the house :-(
BTW, our Mother's Day trip was a canoe camping trip on the Colorado River - lovely!

We couldn't find a single available site in Vermont. I even checked the COE area. While looking, found a single site at a state park, but when I went back to it a few minutes later, it was no longer available, so I made reservation for two weeks from now. Just driveway and back yard plus finish working on the RV this weekend.

We're waiting on the rain to pass and headed to the lake, for 7 weeks! We do hosting at local State Park, close enough to enjoy the lake and tend to yard and garden at home.

We've already been out a couple times but headed out early Friday morning for CG down in KY for the weekend. Shame Hubby isn't retired yet (224 days left) then we will be doing a lot more traveling and enjoying seeing this great country of ours.

We full time so we are always camping.
BUT Memorial day is also the unofficial start of summer at the campground that we host at.
Looking forward to the campground full of people enjoying our mutual love of camping.
It's Summer!!!!!!

We have already been out a few times but out here where we live we stay home on big weekends. It is much more enjoyable to take a day or two off from work and make your own three day weekend with a lot less of a crowd. And for summer camping at any beach area, you need to make a reservation a year in advance if you are lucky which is why we never try at that time.
