How much do you use your extra TV sets?

Maybe I obsess over this when I look at new RVs, but I wonder how much y'all use your 2nd (or 3rd or 4th!) television set in your RV?

I see two TVs in the front living space and I think waste and excess. Maybe that's me. Our bedroom TV burned out shortly after buying our coach three years ago. I replaced it with a spare CRT TV and then the digital change came along. I was thinking about replacing it with a new LCD set, but realized that we had probably used the BR set all of three hours in 2+ years. Rather than replace the old TV, I just removed it. Now we have a nice space on top of a cabinet that is useful for storage. Don't miss having a TV there at all. Usually too tired for TV late, so what's the point? Don't need one in the kitchen or on the patio either. We only use one TV at home, so why would we need more in a small RV?

What about you? Are the extra sets great, or just riding along?

Just riding along. We use it about 2-3 times a year.

I used my bedroom TV all the time before the digital change. Now I can't get signal back there unless I am hooked up to cable. When I have signal on that TV I still use it, but without cable I can't watch it now. I miss having the TV at bedtime. Yes, I would use the bedroom TV.

We use both our TV sets. On rainy days, DH will pop in a DVD he likes but I might want to watch an OTA program, so he's up front & I'm in the bedroom. We both watch the bedroom TV before going to sleep. I got only 1 DTV converter box when the coupons came out & there's no room in the front cabinet for it, so it's pulling in the signal for the bedroom TV. We use the front TV only for DVD watching. Some day we'll upgrade both TV's to HDTV's & we'll still continue to use both.

In our stick house we have eight TV's (only two of us in a four bedroom house with two dogs and a cat) and most of them get used at various times. Can't see why we won't use two in the RV!! (Oh - we gave two TV's away to the kids, that would have made it ten). I know - GET A LIFE!!!

We have one in the front and one in the bed room. Both are tied into the Dish, DVD, X-B0X 360, & WII. Between us (and the pups when we are out) one or the other is on from wake-up to bed time.

Geeesh, I'm starting to feel weird about watching TV in bed. I'm thinking back about when we did not have a TV in the bedroom and I recall that it was about 24 years ago when we lived in WI just before moving to AZ. In the past 24 years we have watched TV in bed every night whether in the house or coach. Are we odd or what? Probably an "or what" Joe

We don't have a bedroom tv in our TT. I was going to install one there, but DW said she didn't want one in the bedroom. So, no bedroom TV.

SWMBO watches the tube every night before going to sleep so ours gets some use. I can fall asleep in about 2 seconds most nights so it doesn't bother me much either way.
