We leave one day and come back in 2 - 4 days.
No need for a washer to wash one pair of underwear.
It really depends on how you plan on using your RV.

Weekend trips we don’t use it, 7 days or longer it saves trips to laundry mat. To us it’s a great convenience.

We love ours. It helps us reduce the amount of clothes to be packed for a trip (we are NOT FT yet), and we also typically get home with only 1 load of wash that needs to be done. Gone are the days of coming home and spending the first post vacation day doing multiple loads of laundry.
I'm a bit of a germaphobe - putting my clothes in a public washing machine? Nope.

It really depends on how you are going to use your rig. If weekend trips and occasional week or so trips then don't bother. Extended trips you will be glad you have it.
We will be full time by January and currently spend 3-4 months at time in our rig a couple of times a year and are sooooooo glad we have a W/D in the rig. In fact we are breaking camp tomorrow and heading to a state park with no water at the site and no sewer so starting the wash this morning

The new to us coach we bought came with washer and dryer. DW wasn’t sure about how convenient they would be. After a few uses she became convinced that they are a good thing. The ability to do laundry on our schedule is so nice. We don’t miss the storage space. I still have plenty of room for more clothes if I wanted. We just make sure to keep the grey tank open when we do laundry.

Would not be without W/D. Full timers. Take off clothes put in W. Take out of W, put in D. Take out of D, put away, all in same room. Saves much time over laundry mats.
Dishwasher and residential refrig make glamping great.

I guess it depends on how you use your coach, and what you lifestyle is. For us, it is a feature that we would be unhappy to give up. We use our coach for from 3 days to months at a time. Complete set of clothes an linen in the RV, wash as we use them, come back home with everything washed and put away, ready for the next trip except the clothes we are wearing when we arrive home.
Sure the 110v dryer takes longer to dry, but it's not our time , by that I mean, put in washer/dryer combo, turn on, go do something, or go to sleep, clothes are done when they're done! Put away, repeat as necessary.
- No more using the metal detector to find $10.00 of change for upcoming wash day.
- No more sitting around laundromat, or
- coming back to laundromat and finding that some helpful soul has taken you clothes out of washer when done so they could use it, and hopefully put them in a cart instead of on the floor.
- No more washing in a machine that was used to wash who knows what prior to your using.
- No more having 50 different mag cards, each loaded with $20 minus what you used at the last campground/laundromat because everyone uses a different pay system.
We like the convenience of having our laundry under our control, there for convenience when we need it.
We don't miss the space, as we have more space than we could possibly need for items that we need . . . Notice I said "Need", and not "Want". Annual clean out and evaluation of all the things that "sneak" into the coach over the last year is essential!

I think the mistake a lot of folks make with the small W/D is to save their laundry and only do it once a week like they do at home. These little units just don't work well that way. We do at least one load a day and sometimes 2 or more. We wouldn't think of not having the W/D.
We're almost always in a FHU park. Not sure a W/D would be all that useful if you're a boondocker. We also travel for months straight. If we traveled weekends only it would probably be less important.
As far as time it takes, I mean how long does it really take to put in the clothes and a little soap and push the button. Who cares how long the dryer runs? Much better than sitting in a laundry room for 2 hours a week. We're also able to dry our bath towels everytime we use them. We even do laundry while going down the road.

If you are FHU it is great otherwise it uses a lot of tank capacity. a small load every day or two is the only way to really use it.

We travel for 2-3 months at a time, so we find the washer and dryer very useful.
Regards.

A find the washer and dryer very important because the wife won’t set foot in the coach without them and I don’t like to travel alone all the time.

Not right now. Our washing options now are take the cloths to the kids house, or use the laundromat at the RV park.. These are both convenient..
Maybe in the future..
