How much value is cummins/allison combo?

the Nada does not let me add on the diesel onto the value of this 1995 thor residency I am considering buying today. How much would you say that ups the value. The nada without options on a gas model is 12k-15k. Obviously a dp is worth a lot more. This one has cummins/allison combo and they are asking 19k. Seems like a good deal to me. Hard to find a dp under 20k. need to spruce up interior but I want a good machine.

Sounds like a very good price and even better if they have the records and manuals
so you know the history very important.

It's not just Diesel Vs. Gas, but also the chassis, suspension, axle capacity, etc. The NADA guide doesn't allow ALL variables to be input. Check the tire and battery age, roof caulking, and evidence of leaks.

Don't fall in love with something that can't love you back!

The above being said, it sounds like a good price, but be aware you can still negotiate downward. Have a mechanic check it out for you.

Keep in mind that the Oshkosh chassis it sits on is almost certainly just leaf springs and hydraulic brakes; it's basically a light duty DP chassis compared to to the air-ride, air braked Freightliners and Spartans you generally think of hen talking diesel pusher. It can be solid but it will ride and turn pretty much like a gasser.

It is comparable to the Bounder diesels of the early 1990s. 15k is probably where you want to be.
