How about a pic or two of the installation itself to show us where you attached the brackets to the door and frame?

Our Nexus Phantom 23P came with a strut to control the door. It works very well. Here is a pic of the strut:

Ok here ya go... I eyeballed it in the middle of the door and frame with the door open and gas prop extended. Made some marks so I could close the door and measure the length of the prop when compressed, so there was room for it to compress with the door shut. Pretty easy install really. This replaced a 2 piece flat bar that did nothing except to limit the door travel open. Wouldn't hold it open. We love it now !!!!
Oh ya, I still need to plug up the old screw holes...
