HR Ambassador- suggestions?

We are thinking of trading for a 2006 Ambassador 38PDQ.. Anyone have things that I should carefully check out when we look at it, etc?

As many threads on this issue state, look at everything, get a professional inspection, oil analysis, tranny, etc. as with any used RV practice due diligence or pay heftily!! Wishing you the best of luck!

Good advice from Clay. Generally seems to be a solid coach built on a proven chassis.

Here is the brochure:

Had a 40' pdq. Solid!!! only minor problem Power Gear problem, messy oil leak and nuisance oil reservoir alarm. Mine had the 330 Cummins which is in most fire trucks across the country. Bullet proof.

being a monaco owner....check the seals around the slide outs they are known leak areas. look for any delamination outside the slides, seems the corners on the rubber seals need to be re glued or they leak onto the inside floor. while the slides are out also look for any damage to the bottom skin that the slide rollers slide on, if there is signs of damage...usually means punky floor from a leak !! good luck !! p.s. I am also in the market for an upgrade mine is a 2001 monaco knight 36R 300isb cummins
