I have a 2003 Coachman class A, constant problems with door latch. Had installed new latch, adjusted strike knob on jam nothing worked. Then I noticed that there were fibre washers on the top of all three hinges as well as a thin metal washer on the bottom of the hinges there was only the metal washer. I was able to raise the door about a sixteenth of an inch so went to Ace hardware and got three fibre washers for the bottom of the hinges. The old washers must have just wore out cause now I can push on the door with one finger and it fully and quietly closes and latches. Can't believe I spent a full year of and on trying to solve this problem. Love this site😉
