I need remedial snowbird training

I’m doing it wrong. 34 deg here this am in the AZ desert. I had to scrape the frost off the toad windshield to go to the grocery store.

I know what you mean. Been a terrible winter in Quartzsite for weather, solar, and morning walks. Too wet, too cold, too cloudy. We remember our past Winters in Q and they we're ALL sunnier and warmer.

We spent the whole winter last year in Arizona, and the Texas gulf coast. It was not very warm the whole winter. You would have had to travel to the Florida keys to get any warm weather. If it makes you feel any better, here in Ontario, it was minus 28 celcius the last two nights. That's about minus 19 Fahrenheit. We also have gotten 3 ft of snow in the last two weeks, to add to the already over abundance we already had. Last winter, my driveway only had to be plowed a few times while I was south. Weird weather all around these past few winters. Does that make you feel any better. Probably not, but what the hay. lol

We just got back from Yuma, Tombstone, Tuscon, and Quartzsite. It was still much warmer there than home, but could have been a bit warmer!

We’ve decided this is our last tango in AZ for the winter. We’ll be headed back to FL next year.

Supposedly you can do some global warming by exhaling but it appears that its not working.

Hopefully this is not the new norm but it is still better than upstate NY. Although a couple weeks ago it was a tad warmer there than Quartzsite, AZ. That just ain't right.

Flagstaff is supposed to get 1-2 feet of snow by Friday and cold. Not any better until next week. Global warming didn't last very long...

Last December we had enough snow that she built a snowman in our front yard

Tonight/Thursday.......could be up to a FOOT of snow here in Verde Valley
Phoenix could even get some.

If I have to buy a 'snow shovel' we're moving!

Last winter was much better in the Yuma area for sure. This winter will make next year seem much better I hope?
