Run in circles and shout----the sky is falling; the sky is falling;
Or like my Dr. would say: to solve a problem; get a dead chicken and wave it over your head;---that will solve all your problems.

Perhaps we could prevail upon you for a few "for instances", since you know where to look - I'm all for more return for my $$$...

Of course, there ARE alternatives to oil stocks:

At last, our chance to be more like Europeans and Asians...

Adding my two cents worth..... I'll drive slower, stay longer, and really plan out our trips to get the most "mileage" out of fuel and enjoyment. Safe travels.

I'll refer you to this article for an in depth discussion of high yield MLPs. There's a link to an MLP guide in the article. The author also discusses a number of attractive MLPs, in his opinion, along with current yields and price appreciation targets.

Facts: 1. Summer 2010 gas in Yukon,BC, and North Alberta was $1.28 L do the math thats $5.00 US plus a gallon.
2. Alaska hit us for $3.87 a gallon
3. The Rent US rvs from europe commented on how cheap the Gas was in Canada and Alaska!!!!

4. China built and sold more cars than the US in 2010, and a survey of the Number one thing a China family was saving for was a New Car so they can go camping.
5. Americans will have to decide what they like to do most RVing or stay home.

It might very well be far more basic than that - the choice MIGHT be whether to eat, or stay warm...

Informative reading for those who believe "Big Oil" sets energy prices.

Two years ago when gas and diesel hit all time highs, all I heard was "It's George Bush's fault". Inquiring minds want to know, whose fault is it now?

cb5300, You know that's probably true however no 10,000 motorhomes like yours would make a significant impact on the total fuel consumption on the nations highways.

Now manage that school bus fleet that goes whipping by my house everyday with the engine wrung out to its max RPM and then I'd say you got something!

Lucky in BC

I'm lucky, that we moved from Alberta (lots and cheap gas) to BC (Bring Cash). We have such a beautiful coast and mountains just out my door. 12 miles to the best campground and pay only ca.$ 6.50 per day for the rig (inc. DW and Dog). Please, don't asked where it is? Just stay here and enjoy my campfire and grilled salmon

$5.00 fuel

Only in America, we will be looking for the bargin DP. For every down turn there is an up turn. We hope to be on the up turn side for a great deal. Dealers will be easy to bargin with for cash sales.
