If Money Was No Object

Hello Folks,

I am debating, with myself that is, surveying and researching my future purchase and I have narrowed it down to three possible candidates. These are all class A diesel pushers 40+ feet with all the "likes" I want.

I am not rich, so please don't be mislead with the title of this thread, but I hope to get a feel for what experienced owners think about the brand names listed below. If you could state like, or dislike, that would be great.

Please feel free to expand on your opinion by all means should you want to.

Many thanks!

Not in any necessary order:

Fleetwood Providence 42M
Entegra Anthem 44SDL
American Coach American Revolution 42W

Pick the one the DW likes the best. Can't go wrong.

All coaches will have some issues. I think all of them have strong points as well.

Seems like the luck of the draw and the dealer that make or break the purchase/warranty experience.

I'm sure that you'd be happy with any of the ones on your list. I have an Anthem 44SL and we are very, very happy campers. We chose Entegra because we felt that we got a bit more bang for the buck and like the 2 year warranty. Regardless, we managed to find a coach that was used for a few months and had less than 500 miles on it. The huge discount for buying "used" clinched the deal for us.

We're in a '12 Revolution 42W and like it. The best advise we received before we bought was pick one that has the interior set up you want since that is where you spend most of your time. The 42W had the floor plan we wanted and as I remember Newmar was the only other mfr that was similar in price with a similar floor plan. Good luck.

There are definite differences between the Providence and the other two coaches. The Providence is the only one without independent front suspension. And, since money was an object for us, the Providence was the one in our price range.
American makes a great coach - they are the luxe member (but separate) from Fleetwood. We tried to make it into a Revolution but couldn't stretch it.
So, I would go with American Rev, Entegra and then Providence as you get what you pay for. We got a great deal on the Providence and love it - but it isn't a Revolution.

Good luck!
