Years ago there was a camping club that had a cartoon turtle as a mascot.

At one time FMCA either had the turttle or were considering it. It their mascot for the 50th anniversery.

Larry specifically said it was "years ago" so I don't think the FMCA one qualifies.

Renderings of the three most-suggested characters the turtle, the roadrunner and the goose were displayed at FMCA.com and in FMC magazine. Members were invited to vote for their favorite.
