Independent RV inspector near Huntsville AL

Hello all,

My husband and I have been looking to for our first RV for several months, and we've found one near Huntsville AL that we've really got our eye on. The problem is that it's about 6.5 hours from us, and we're debating making a trip all the way there, or buying sight unseen. If we commit without seeing it ourselves, we'd like to get an independent inspection done. Does anyone know of any good inspectors close to Huntsville AL that you could recommend? If not, any suggestions for how to find one?

Any info would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Jennifer

If you will send me an email or PM, I will give you a contact number here. I would volunteer to take a look for you but I have no experience except with my own vehicles.

Would you all mind sending me the information on these inspectors? I am potentially looking at a coach there, on paper it seems to be what I'm looking for. It's a DP, so would need someone who could check the engine as well. Thanks!

Beth

Hello Beth and We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
You will probably need two separate inspectors; one for the chassis and drive train and one for the rest of the coach. Depending on the time frame, I might be available for the coach side inspection and I can try to find a qualified chassis technician to handle the other side. Let us know what you find out from the seller.

Thank you, I'm driving up tomorrow to take a look at it. Hoping it looks good. Will see where I need to go from there.
