Inside my RV...take a peek

I love taking a peek inside someone's camper -- and lots of you do as well, as the call for "inside pics, please!" on the New Rig Show Off thread shows.

I've read most all the entries in the Mods section of every RV forum I've found. I especially love photos showing how others have personalized or modified their RVs. I'm not talking about mechanical doohickies and stinky slinky holders...I'm a pictures, paint, and curtains kind of gal.

When I see a full-timer's RV blog, first thing I do is click their description of their rig.

I recently stumbled across a new website dedicated to this very thing! So excited!

Inside My RV

Next week, he's featuring the two campers that my husband (who is a carpenter) and I have modified.

Monday's post will be our first camper which was tiny (!) and so much fun to modify because everything had to do double-duty, so we really got creative. Next, he'll show our current camper, which is brand new and much bigger...so our mods were more based on decorating and making the furniture fit our needs.

So, pop over and check out his site. And send in your own pics too!

Well I am impressed with the modifications, you certainly did a lovely job, and be thankful you have such a handyman. Your new curtains etc are not to be sneezed at either!
I know the work that you both put into this and must say you complement each other beautifully!
Congrats on a job well done, I will be watching to see the newest revision....

Great job! Nice way to re-use the space to make it more comfortable for you. Thanks for sharing. We don't have a projuect going on at the moment so can't post anything. Had thought about taking out the sofa and replacing with recliners that the space we have to work with just won't allow us to do what we want to do. I would have to move the dining table all the way down to the slider side wall but the wife just hasn't given me the thumbs up on that move yet.

Thanks so much, Enokie! Yes, my husband is a wonder. He spent some time in his 20's working in construction as a carpenter...but if the tile guy didn't show, or the drywall hanger, etc. then everyone at the work site just pitched in to get the house built. So he has a ton of know-how and I help with the elbow grease and never-ending wish list.

Our current camper, a 31-ft. Ultralight will go up tomorrow!

Thanks Steve N Sal! You absolutely DON'T need to do any modifications to submit pics to Bob's site...mods are great, but the site really is dedicated to just seeing what your camper---any type or style at all--looks like. He wants one outside shot and a few from the inside. Speaking for myself, I'd love to see your space. Even if you've not done anything to it, you can show off your floorplan! But I'll bet you have personalized...put out some countertop doohickies or your own bedding, or plastic shelves or a magnetic strip for knives. Not only am I curious, but it gives us all ideas on what might make our limited spaces work better or look more homey!

And, I do hope some of you will send him some photos of your own campers.
