Question Install a manual awning on slide-out?

Has anyone installed a manual awning on the side of curbside slide-out? We are not fond of our power awning that is waaay too high & pretty worthless. Looking for possible solutions. We do have a slide topper so the awning would have to be mounted below that.
Thanks in advance

I don't see any reason why not. A friend's 2004 HR Endeavor came from the factory that way and it works nicely, though the awning is rather small (about 11 feet, mounted on a 13 foot slide).
