IF he's like me, he has a 4-button comfort control and a control box.
You'll need to tell us what you've got in there now... There are a ton of possible combinations.

The install docs for your unit are generic across several, but they're available here:
http://bryantrv.com/docs2/docs/opera...air.pdfControl box instructions are separate, but on the underside of your unit you can see compatible systems listed. If you need an analog control and a an interior dial-control, I've got a brand new one that I'm not going to use with a a ducted system.

The instructions for hooking to the A/C and Furnace should be in the box with the Thermostat.

You will need to identify the wires from teh A/C. They should be common, Cool, Fan low and Fan high. These hook to the same screws on the T-stat. Again this should be explained in the thermostat manual.

The two wires from teh furnace hook to the furnace screws on the T-Stat. in theory it matters not which goes where but if it is an electronic T-Stat it might so again check the T-Stat manual.> That is where you will find the info you need.

Furnace connections (2 blue wires) will be up at the roof unit. You will need to swap the old control box or purchase a new one to match the analog T'stat.
