My propane tank is a 24.2 gallon horizontal mount.

I need to find a 50 gallon horizontal mount

Welcome to iRV2. You don't say what you're trying to mount this on assuming you will be mounting it. (fifth wheel, class A (?) motorhome, etc) Have you considered the added weight? Do you have room for it? How you will mount it? Will it meet code? Have you checked with your local propane supplier?

Have you considered an "Extend-A-Stay" adapter and then use an external tank for additional LP supply?

{I am not trying to hi-jack your thread ... just trying to help you think outside the box}

ASME certified vehicle propane tanks are available in most any size, but I suspect you will find it more difficult to get somebody to modify your installation to include one. There are very stringent safety rules for mobile propane installations and the shop needs to be certified to do it. And space and weight (2x your current tank) are going to be issues too.

What are you trying to achieve with a larger tank? Perhaps we can suggest a better alternative.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions

What I am trying to do is simply have more capacity.
Several parks that we have stayed in do not allow Extend-A-Stay hook up The rules are no propane tanks that are not attached to the RV.

As far as size I have room for a larger tank,and as far as chaging the tank,I will do that myself,as soon as find a source for a larger tank
