Insulation

I have a 2007 Fourwinds Windsport. We love it, but the insulation factor is low. (Almost non existent) Is it worth the expense to have more insulation installed ?

Welcome, I would say yes. Certainly if you are using your rig in colder climates.

Thank you. I had planned to use it last winter, but the cost of heating was ridiculous. I'll have to call around for some quotes.

I'm curious how they'll add more insulation to it.

Entegra and Newmar are the top 2 insulators in the industry now (sub million dollars). With Entegra having the highest R value.

In used in would Triple E, Entegra, Newmar, Travel Supreme and Foretravel.

I would assume they would take Dow the interior panels on the ceiling. As for the walls, I have no idea. It might not be possible or economically feasible. But I have a few calls out. We'll see. I'll keep you posted.

Spoke with Majors RV in Bourne MA, they said it's really not worth it.
